What you'll do

  • Manage a defined portion of Carrot’s provider network, building and maintaining strong relationships across assigned clinics, networks, and geographies.
  • Participate in provider contract negotiations and rate discussions, independently handling portions of negotiations and escalating when appropriate.
  • Support provider escalations and complex issue resolution to drive timely, thoughtful outcomes.
  • Proactively identify and escalate partnership-related risks, dependencies, and issues that could impact member experience, revenue, or strategic priorities.
  • Define, track, and analyze partnership and network KPIs, including contract progression, coverage expansion, provider utilization, outcomes requests, and partner performance.
  • Synthesize data, partner feedback, and market trends into clear recommendations and internal readouts that support leadership decision-making.
  • Identify opportunities to improve clinic workflows, partnership processes, and the end-to-end member experience.
  • Partner cross-functionally to improve workflows, templates, tooling, and execution processes that support scalable partnership management and contracting.
  • Own the accuracy and integrity of partnership data, documentation, and deal status across core systems and internal knowledge bases.
  • Strengthen clinic relationships, support negotiations, resolve issues, and improve workflows.
  • Translate network data, partner feedback, and operational insight into better decisions, stronger execution, and more durable provider partnerships.

What they require

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2–4 years of experience in partnerships, account management, or a related role with relationship management and negotiation exposure.
  • Demonstrated understanding of fertility clinic practices, patient journeys, and office operations.
  • Strong knowledge of medical billing and coding, particularly within fertility care.
  • Experience participating in contract and rate negotiations, including the ability to manage difficult conversations and escalate appropriately.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including presenting information clearly and managing stakeholder expectations.
  • Experience using CRM or tracking tools such as Salesforce or Airtable to manage partnerships and clinic data.
  • Ability to work effectively in a remote environment while leveraging in-person opportunities such as conferences and off-sites.
  • Preferred: Prior experience working in the fertility industry or in a healthcare provider setting.
  • Preferred: Experience working in a startup or high-growth environment with evolving priorities.
