Senior Fullstack Developer (React/NextJS/AWS) - REMOTE - #35258

As a Senior Fullstack Developer, you will take end-to-end ownership of building and improving digital commerce products that directly support the company’s business, giving you meaningful scope and visibility into the impact of your work. You will work closely with senior engineering, product, design, and operations teams to turn ideas into scalable, high-quality solutions, contribute to key technical and product decisions, and help drive the company’s continued growth through hands-on development and continuous improvement.

As the company continues to grow and expand its global presence, they are now looking for a talented Senior Fullstack Developer to join their team.

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled developer who is looking to take ownership of end-to-end development, contribute to the scalability and performance of their digital platforms, and play a key role in building and enhancing products that support the company’s growing portfolio of consumer brands. The successful candidate will work across both frontend and backend technologies, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and help shape technical solutions that support the company’s continued growth and innovation.

Duties and Responsibilities:

•Own features and systems end-to-end: front end, backend, database, auth, and APIs

•Build and maintain iOS and Android mobile apps with Expo (React Native), including App Store and Google Play releases

•Integrate AI into workflows and products: personalisation, automation, internal tooling

•Integrate third-party services cleanly from their documentation: payments, subscriptions, and more

•Maintain and improve existing codebases as well as build new things from scratch

•Build and customise Shopify storefronts: Liquid theme development, checkout UI extensions, subscription and retention flows (Skio, Klaviyo), and conversion optimisation

•Own platform and workspace administration: AWS infrastructure, Asana administration, email and user management, domains/DNS, and internal tooling

•Implement and uphold security and privacy controls across all products (access control, encryption, audit logging, secure SDLC), with particular care for health and payment data

Requirements

Must-have Skills/Qualification:

•At least 7 years of professional software development experience, with a strong background in fullstack development across different platforms and technologies

•Extensive hands-on experience with React and Next.js for frontend development

•Strong experience with AWS as the primary backend environment

•Proven experience developing and supporting e-commerce platforms or digital commerce products

•Experience owning infrastructure, deployments, monitoring, and production operations, in addition to application development

•Strong security fundamentals across application and cloud infrastructure, including secure handling of sensitive personal, health, and payment data

•Ability to analyze business and technical requirements, design solutions, and present technical approaches clearly to project owners and stakeholders

•Experience leveraging and integrating AI tools into software development workflows to improve productivity, development quality, or problem-solving

•Proactive and solution-oriented, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment

•Strong communication and collaboration skills, with experience working closely with product, design, operations, and other cross-functional teams

Advantageous Skills/Experience:

•Hands-on experience with Shopify

•Experience working in healthcare, health-related products, or other regulated consumer product industries

•Experience building or supporting systems that handle sensitive personal data under a compliance framework (e.g. Australian Privacy Act/APPs, GDPR, PCI DSS, HIPAA)

•Experience building automation and AI-driven workflows: LLM/API integrations, agentic tooling (e.g. Claude Code, MCP), RAG (e.g. OpenClaw), workflow automation (n8n, Shopify Flow, AWS Lambda/EventBridge)

•Expo (React Native) mobile development, including App Store and Google Play releases
