  • Build and maintain backend services and APIs in Python to support product features.
  • Build reusable components, patterns, and frontend architecture that improve developer velocity.
  • Improve application performance, accessibility, responsiveness, and reliability.
  • Collaborate with product and design teams to translate requirements into high-quality user experiences.
  • Write high-quality tests across the stack using tools such as Vitest, Vue Test Utils, Playwright, and pytest.
  • Participate in code reviews and mentor engineers on frontend best practices.
  • Contribute to CI/CD improvements, observability, monitoring, and release quality.
  • Help maintain strong standards around security, privacy, and safe handling of user data.
  • Use AI-powered development tools, including Claude, to accelerate software design, implementation, testing, debugging, documentation, and code review.
  • Apply strong engineering judgment when reviewing AI-generated solutions, validating them for correctness, maintainability, security, performance, and alignment with established architectural standards.
  • Craft effective prompts and provide relevant technical context to help AI tools produce accurate, production-ready code and documentation.
  • Use AI tools responsibly, ensuring that proprietary data, customer information, credentials, and other sensitive material are handled in accordance with company security policies.
  • Share effective AI workflows, reusable prompts, and best practices that improve engineering productivity and quality across the team, and evaluate emerging AI development tools worth adopting.
