Roadie is looking for a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to build and evolve the systems that power our logistics platform. You’ll work on high-impact initiatives across areas such as sender APIs, RoadieXD™, payments, identity, compliance, and fraud prevention. Partnering across Engineering, Product, and Operations, you’ll solve complex challenges, influence technical direction, and build scalable systems that support millions of deliveries. What You’ll Do

Design, build, and test scalable APIs, services, and full stack applications Develop internal and customer-facing tools, including React-based dashboards and workflows Partner with Engineering, Product, and Operations to solve complex business and technical challenges Contribute to platform modernization efforts, including the migration of legacy functionality into scalable services Influence architecture and technical decisions that improve scalability, reliability, security, and performance Write clean, maintainable code supported by automated testing, thoughtful code reviews, and modern engineering practices Identify opportunities to improve existing systems, developer experience, and long-term maintainability

What You Bring

6+ years of professional software engineering experience building and shipping production applications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent practical experience Experience designing and building scalable applications, distributed systems, and APIs Strong proficiency in at least one backend language and experience with a modern frontend framework such as React Experience building reliable, secure, and well-tested software Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate complex technical challenges The ability to make thoughtful technical decisions while balancing immediate needs with long-term maintainability Strong collaboration and communication skills, including experience working across technical and nontechnical teams Curiosity, ownership, and the ability to learn new technologies quickly

Bonus Points

Experience with logistics, payments, user management, compliance, or fraud prevention Experience modernizing legacy systems or migrating functionality to service-based architectures
