Senior Frontend Software Engineer (Angular) with German

One of our clients operates prominently in the financial sector, where we enhance operations across their extensive network of 150,000 workstations and support a workforce of 4,500 employees. Our IT solutions ensure streamlined processes and heightened security, enabling them to maintain leadership in financial technology. The project team is responsible for the ongoing development of applications that support cash transactions within the bank. The software is used by teller staff and supports daily cash-handling operations, including deposits, withdrawals, and other cash-related transactions. The focus is on delivering stable, intuitive, and high-performance front-end solutions that efficiently support the day-to-day work of bank employees. Responsibilities Tailor client solutions : Conduct research, assessments, and recommend efficient and robust software solutions tailored to client needs Deliver high-quality code : Ensure the delivery of high-quality code that meets requirements, with a focus on performance Drive Continuous Improvement : You will proactively identify areas for improvement in existing programs and lead refactoring efforts Team collaboration : Collaborate closely with software engineers, product owners, team managers, and clients Provide client consultancy : Offer technical consultancy services to clients to ensure solutions meet their requirements Nurture Knowledge : Mentor colleagues to enhance their skills and knowledge

Must Have: 5+ years of experience in web application development using JavaScript/TypeScript and frameworks/libraries such as Angular, RxJS, Angular Material, along with strong SCSS/CSS and HTML best practices Excellent communication skills in English and German for effective collaboration with teams and clients Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities, including debugging and performance testing Experience analyzing project requirements and delivering reliable solutions across different application components Solid understanding of client-server communication, protocols, and REST principles Experience working in agile environments (Scrum / SAFe) within cross-functional squads Proficiency with version control systems such as Git and Atlassian tools Interest in and hands-on experience with XP practices such as pair programming, TDD, DDD, and simple design Ability to adapt strategies and working methods based on specific project needs and contexts Regular use of AI tools to improve productivity, automate or reduce repetitive work, support decision-making, and deliver higher-quality outcomes Ability to use AI tools responsibly by structuring effective prompts, critically validating outputs, understanding limitations, and taking ownership of the final result Nice to Have: Knowledge of frameworks and adjacent technologies used in projects (NodeJS, Docker, etc.) Willingness and experience in developing colleagues with lower seniority, fostering a collaborative team environment Application lifecycle and CI/CD knowledge Security and UI/UX experience As a people-first organisation, we believe diversity strengthens our teams and drives innovation.
