What you'll do

  • Act as the embedded AI engineering partner for Finance — attending planning reviews, close cycles, forecasting discussions, operational reviews, and executive prep.
  • Build the Finance AI integration layer connecting AI to enterprise finance platforms (NetSuite, Adaptive Planning, FloQast, AWS) and internal data warehouses.
  • Build retrieval and knowledge systems over financial docs, board materials, KPI definitions, investor communications, and forecasting models.
  • Build AI-enabled quality assurance: metric reconciliation, narrative/KPI consistency validation, financial calculation verification, formatting checks, human-in-the-loop review workflows.
  • Develop operational intelligence: cost/spend monitoring, vendor/procurement analysis, contract/compliance monitoring, cloud cost optimization, anomaly and root-cause analysis.
  • Build market, earnings and strategic intelligence against competitor earnings calls, filings, analyst commentary, board prep.
  • Automate recurring finance workflows: reporting commentary, flash reports, KPI summaries, forecast analysis, memo and board material drafting.
  • Build evaluation frameworks, regression testing, quality scorecards, and train Finance SMEs to evaluate and operate AI workflows.
  • Contribute reusable AI patterns and shape governance, security and compliance standards for enterprise AI adoption.

What they require

  • 5+ years experience building & deploying software/data/automation/AI-powered apps.
  • 2+ years hands-on experience building LLM-based or AI-enabled systems in production.
  • Strong design of AI workflows: retrieval, orchestration, tool use, evaluation frameworks, multi-step reasoning.
  • Strong Python and production-quality backend services, APIs, integrations, automations.
  • Experience integrating enterprise systems (ern / no, planning, financial, operational) into AI workflows.
  • Familiarity with structured/unstructured enterprise data and retrieval systems.
  • Understanding of AI monitoring, evaluation and observability concepts.
  • Excellent communication; proven ability to translate business workflows into technical solutions and enable non-technical teams.
  • Operates well in ambiguity / 0→1, high ownership, strong prioritization.
  • Awareness of governance, security, compliance for enterprise AI adoption, incl. regulated environments (SOX, HIPAA).
