What you'll do

  • Liaise with business and IT teams to translate finance requirements into solutions with data contracts and process documentation.
  • Work closely with Group IT Enterprise Architecture to review and govern solution architecture for Finance System Integration deliveries.
  • Define solutions and provide Finance Systems Integration guidance and management services for change planning & delivery.
  • Review, introduce and maintain principles and standards for design governance.
  • Ensure timely delivery of Finance System Integration activities and deliverables to support SAD documentation, ARB, CAB and other Governance committees.
  • Ensure adherence to DORA requirements, information security standards, incident reporting protocols, and regulatory compliance in specifications.
  • Ensure error handling is identified and specified in accordance with the process.
  • Perform financial data analysis for system-to-system integration and deliver business user outputs.
  • Document progress, issues, and solutions from a finance business perspective.
  • Create automated system reconciliation processes and maintain process documentation.
  • Elicit, analyze, and document business requirements in finance and across stakeholders.
  • Support end users for finance and accounting processes, including month-end close, reporting, and planning.
  • Coordinate and document end-user testing of changes, upgrades/releases, and maintenance patches within the finance change remit.
  • Lead runbook development and handover to BAU/support for post implementation activity.
  • Ensure timely delivery of Finance System Integration activities and deliverables to support SAD documentation, ARB and CAB where required.
  • Ensure adherence to DORA requirements, including information security standards and incident reporting protocols.
  • Identify and specify error handling in accordance with the process in question.
  • Perform financial data analysis for system-to-system integration with business user outputs as key deliverables.
  • Elicit, analyze, and document business requirements in finance and across key stakeholders.

What they require

  • Previous BA experience in Finance Systems, Finance Transformation, and/or Systems implementation projects/programmes.
  • Experience in finance systems (e.g., Unit4 / CODA / Workday etc).
  • Experience in working Insurance Broking Accounting systems/solutions and Policy Administration system technology.
  • Strong skills in Excel, SQL, ETL, APIs and / or Middleware.
  • Lucidchart, Visio, or other BPM documentation experience.
  • Experience in business requirement elicitation and documentation.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to challenge the status quo constructively, with standardisation (data/process) and addressing control/risks as key deliverables.
  • Ensure adherence to DORA (Digital Operational Resilience Act) requirements, including information security standards, incident reporting protocols, and regulatory compliance obligations in all specifications.
