We now operate across 21 markets worldwide, including the US, Canada, UK, Singapore, Japan, Hong Kong, Australia, and New Zealand.</p><h3><strong>Position Overview</strong></h3><p>Focus is a new service within the Crimson suite, designed to prioritize the development of executive function and leadership skills that drive academic, extracurricular, and personal success. The program also prepares students to engage more effectively with other Crimson services—ranging from research and test prep to competitions and extracurricular capstones.</p><p>We're seeking experienced coaches to help high-achieving students (grades 8-12) develop essential leadership and executive function skills, aligned with the MIT Human Skills Matrix. The ideal candidate will deliver structured coaching that builds practical capabilities valued by top colleges and future employers, while tracking concrete progress via weekly tasks and milestone projects.</p><p>Senior EF Coach is a <strong>flexible, contract/hourly position.</strong></p><p><br></p><h3><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></h3><ul><li><p>Structure and deliver weekly 1:1 coaching sessions, focused on practical skill development across self-management, interaction, thinking, and leadership</p></li><li><p>Assess students’ needs across 18 key skill areas (initial assessment provided), and design 10, 20, or 30-week development plans targeting 3–5 skills per 10-week cycle</p></li><li><p>Track student progress using weekly tasks, milestone projects, and periodic assessments</p></li><li><p>Use provided resources as desired, and remain adaptable as new practices and tools are introduced across the service</p></li><li><p>Coordinate with the Execution Mentor (task execution and accountability), Strategist (academic and extracurricular strategy), and Student Success Manager (parent-facing progress updates) as needed</p></li><li><p>Support students in building habits for long-term academic and professional success</p></li><li><p>Support students in building character (e.g. integrity, resilience, initiative, empathy, self-motivation, intellectual curiosity) and emotional intelligence</p></li></ul><p></p><h3><strong>Required Qualifications</strong></h3><ul><li><p>PhD or Master’s degree in coaching/counseling from an accredited institution</p></li><li><p>Clinical or other formal experience working with youth</p></li><li><p>Demonstrated success working with youth/students</p></li></ul><p><br></p><h3><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></h3><ul><li><p>Leadership experience in public or private sectors</p></li><li><p>Background in executive function coaching or leadership development</p></li><li><p>Understanding of current college admissions trends</p></li><li><p>Experience working with international students</p></li><li><p>Familiarity with student assessments, progress tracking, and skills assessment frameworks</p></li></ul><p><br></p><h3><strong>Success in This Role Means…</strong></h3><ul><li><p>Helping students achieve measurable improvements in self-management, communication, and leadership abilities</p></li><li><p>Creating supportive yet structured learning environments</p></li><li><p>Maintaining focus on skill development while nurturing student wellbeing</p></li><li><p>Building strong relationships with students while maintaining professional boundaries</p></li><li><p>Contributing to program development and refinement</p></li><li><p>Supporting our mission to develop well-rounded, capable, and resilient future leaders</p></li><li><p>Helping students thrive across academic, personal, and leadership dimensions</p></li></ul><p></p><p>If you're passionate about growing in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and want to join an inspiring team of educators and holistic mentors, we'd love to hear from you!
