As the Senior Event IT Manager, you will lead the IT strategy, planning, and execution for our Whitelabel productions and major Festival broadcasts. A critical component of this role is its client-facing nature: you will be the senior technical liaison for high-profile clients, expertly managing their expectations from early planning stages through to flawless on-site execution.

What you'll do

  • Serve as the primary, senior-level IT point of contact for Whitelabel clients, translating complex, bespoke requirements into actionable technical architectures.
  • Proactively manage high-level client expectations during the lead-up to events, ensuring complete transparency regarding technical capabilities, timelines, and infrastructure limitations.
  • Source, evaluate, and manage various external IT, network, and hardware vendors required for complex festival and whitelabel event delivery.
  • Own the technical IT execution for these events, ensuring peak performance and reliability for broadcast, tournament, and production infrastructure.
  • Lead and mentor a specialized sub-team, managing deployments and workloads for direct reports focused on North American (NA) Festivals and whitelabel operations

What they require

  • 5+ years of experience in Event IT, broadcast engineering, or live event infrastructure, with at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial role.
  • Proven track record of managing technical expectations and delivering complex IT solutions for high-profile external clients or B2B partners.
  • Deep experience negotiating with, coordinating, and directing external technology vendors, ISPs, and hardware suppliers for live events.
  • Strong foundational knowledge of hybrid networking, server infrastructure, live streaming protocols, and stage production environments.
  • Willingness to travel for on-site execution at global productions, major festivals, and live events.
