What you'll do

  • Lead the Clinic Cloud Engineering team for Spain.
  • Partner closely with Product Managers and the Country Manager.
  • Hold country-level ownership of what the team ships.
  • Report directly to the Global Engineering Director for PMSs.
  • Set technical and product engineering direction.
  • Define what quality looks like for the product and team.
  • Make the team better, the product more reliable, and the market more confident in Docplanner's PMS.
  • Own architecture and quality calls pragmatically.
  • Build teams that do not need you for every decision by hiring well, giving context early, and creating space for others to lead.
  • Work across engineers, Product Managers, commercial teams, and clinics to hold the whole product picture.
  • Lead a country-level product area with autonomy and accountability.

What they require

  • 5+ years leading product engineering teams with direct people management: hiring, performance, growth.
  • Led a team through real product transformation, not just maintenance cycles.
  • Experience shipping in an environment where uptime and data integrity have real consequences.
  • Technical background to own architecture and quality calls; grounded enough to make them pragmatically.
  • Comfortable holding a strategic conversation with the business and a technical one with your engineers on the same day.
  • Experience leading product-facing engineering teams.
  • Understanding that software running in healthcare has real-world consequences beyond support tickets.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and with iteratively getting to the best product.
  • Push to understand why before discussing how.
  • Do not confuse delivery speed with progress.
  • Experience in market-facing engineering roles where trust is built over months and lost quickly.
  • Preferred: Spanish market experience or working in Spanish.
  • Preferred: Exposure to healthcare, clinic workflows, or regulated data environments.
  • Fluent English and Spanish languages.
