Job Summary The Senior Director, Commissioning is responsible for leading Nortek DCC’s global commissioning organization and end-to-end site delivery for hyperscale and colocation data center customers. This role owns the successful startup, IST/TAB readiness, and commissioning execution of Nortek equipment from factory handoff through customer acceptance and carries full P&L ownership for the commissioning business. This leader will drive commissioning excellence and consistent field execution, own commissioning profitability and revenue growth, and build and scale a high-performing commissioning organization capable of keeping pace with rapid growth in installed base. Key Responsibilities 1. Commissioning Leadership Lead all commissioning operations across hyperscale and colocation customer sites Own IST (Integrated Systems Testing) and TAB (Testing, Adjusting & Balancing) readiness for Nortek equipment Ensure a smooth factory-to-field startup handoff and rapid issue resolution 2. Commissioning P&L Ownership Own the commissioning P&L, including revenue, cost, and margin performance Understand and actively manage the levers that influence and increase commissioning profitability Drive revenue growth across the commissioning business and identify new opportunities to expand scope Partner with finance and sales on pricing, quoting, and margin improvement 3. Site Execution & Delivery Ensure consistent, high-quality commissioning execution across all customer sites Establish clear accountability, ownership, and escalation structures for site delivery Drive on-time completion against customer schedules and milestones 4. Organizational Scaling Build and lead a scalable commissioning organization Develop Service Managers and field leadership Support hiring and talent development aligned with growth 5. Operational Planning Align commissioning capacity with customer demand and site ramp schedules Develop workforce and site-staffing planning models 6. Customer Relationship Leadership Build executive relationships with hyperscale and colocation customers, including AWS, Microsoft, and Meta, on commissioning delivery Serve as the escalation point for major commissioning and startup issues 7.
