Senior IT leader to run Docker's Information Technology organization. Requires 12+ years of global IT leadership and experience with modern SaaS/cloud-based infrastructures. Role leads help desk, application management, device lifecycle and builds IT strategy, KPIs and SLAs; Seattle preferred, remote-first.

What you'll do

  • Build a strong metrics-driven, business focused IT organization and set the mission and vision of Docker’s Information Technology to ensure continual service improvement.
  • Assess, architect and right-size the applications footprint to ensure a connected enterprise and trusted information flow between systems and into our cloud.
  • Build and maintain relationships with other technical leaders and business executives to ensure efficient delivery of IT services.
  • Develop a multi-year strategy and roadmap for IT, including managing future technology debt and technical dependencies.
  • Provide operational transparency through workflows, KPIs and SLAs; own enterprise help desk, application management and device lifecycle logistics.

What they require

  • 12+ yrs Global IT leadership experience, comfortable in a fast moving technology startup experience.
  • Experience with modern SaaS/cloud-based infrastructures.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, engineering or related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
  • Demonstrated ability to formulate high-level strategy and convert it into tactical plans and execution.
  • AI-and-automation-first mentality; strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
