What you'll do

  • Define and execute the sales strategy and go-to-market plan for the North American Insurance Team, working closely with regional and industry leadership.
  • Consistently deliver against sales targets, contributing to business growth by winning new deals and building a robust pipeline.
  • Manage a team of Sales Directors while actively participating in the sales process.
  • Co-sell with team members and navigate complex deals.
  • Penetrate and expand relationships within complex Tier-1 US insurance carriers.
  • Provide structured sales coaching and mentorship to a team of sales professionals.
  • Channel the team's energy and elevate their performance.

What they require

  • Extensive experience as an enterprise software sales manager or director in North America.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and grow effective sales teams.
  • Strong understanding of the US insurance carrier landscape, including Tier-1 and Tier-2 carriers.
  • Understanding of operational and buying processes, key sector issues, and ability to educate and solutionize with customers.
  • Proven track record in solution selling.
  • Experience navigating long, complex, multi-stakeholder procurement cycles.
  • Hands-on leader willing to network at events, chase inbound leads, and directly co-sell with team members.
  • Ambitious, determined, and energetic with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Independent decision-maker who is inclusive when evaluating options.
  • Resilient, perseverant, and capable of delivering results in complex and demanding environments.
  • Optimistic outlook with an ability to spot and react to market changes.
  • Preferred: Previous experience selling Financial Crime, Fraud, or other data-heavy platform products within the insurance sector.
  • Preferred: Technical comprehension of advanced analytics, AI/ML concepts, or data management platforms.
  • Preferred: Warm network of existing relationships inside key Tier-1 US insurance accounts.
