What you'll do

  • Design experiences to help people manage conditions, medications, and longitudinal health engagements.
  • Collaborate on future experience prototyping to visualize long‑horizon digital experiences.
  • Discover, ideate, deliver, and iterate experiences across the product design double diamond.
  • Take ideas from rough sketches through complete products and self-direct UI/UX from inception to completion.
  • Work whiteboard sketches to high fidelity digital experiences including responsive web, native mobile, voice, and emerging solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and deliver design assets on time.
  • Create user studies, user flows, wireframes, UI designs, prototypes, annotations and other deliverables.
  • Create UI transitions and animations and collaborate with front-end developers in their execution.
  • Assess and optimize performance of features via usability testing, user research and analytics.
  • Develop and uphold interactive style guides, design systems, and enterprise standards.
  • Mentor UI/UX designers and provide direction in absence of department leader.
  • Communicate conceptual ideas and design rationale to team and leadership.

What they require

  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, User Interface/Experience, Human Computer Interaction (HCI) or relevant field or equivalent experience and education.
  • Seven plus years in the interactive design field including experience in product design (responsive web, native app, interactive displays) and brand marketing.
  • Must provide a portfolio that clearly demonstrates a mix of UX and UI skills and experience designing across multiple devices.
  • Expertise in graphic design, web frameworks, systems design.
  • Experience working with engineering teams and a solid understanding of Agile product development.
  • Strong working knowledge of various low- and high-fidelity prototyping techniques.
  • Expert with modern design tools (Sketch, InVision, Adobe Suite).
  • Experience coding HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (will not have to code with this role).
  • Proven experience testing, measuring and refining designs based on customer feedback and market data.
