Currently, we are seeking a passionate and experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team to support the further development and maintenance of our development environments and development-related IT infrastructure. In this role, you will establish the foundation for efficient software development and seamless collaboration across team boundaries.

Responsibilities:

Administer and maintain Linux-based systems and environments. Operate and support cloud infrastructure in Microsoft Azure, from containerized workloads to Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS). Deploy, configure, and maintain web servers and related services within cloud environments. Apply a strong understanding of networking fundamentals, particularly application-layer protocols such as HTTP, SSH, SSL/TLS, TFTP, and related technologies. Design, implement, and maintain automated CI/CD workflows using Jenkins and GitLab. Build and optimize Jenkins and GitLab pipelines to support reliable, efficient software delivery. Provision and manage infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform. Automate configuration and system management using Ansible. Develop scripts and automation solutions using Python and Bash. Support the end-to-end software development lifecycle by providing and maintaining effective DevOps processes, tools, and practices. Manage source code and version control using Git, including GitLab and GitHub. Implement and maintain monitoring and observability solutions using Grafana and Prometheus. Collaborate closely with development and other technical teams to improve system reliability, automation, deployment processes, and overall engineering efficiency.

Requirements:

Minimum 5+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer. Strong hands-on experience with Linux administration and troubleshooting. Solid experience with Microsoft Azure, including containerized environments and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS). Good understanding of networking concepts and application-layer protocols, including HTTP, SSH, SSL/TLS, TFTP, and related technologies. Strong experience designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitLab. Practical experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), particularly Terraform. Hands-on experience with Ansible for configuration management and automation. Proficiency in Python and Bash scripting for automation and operational tasks. Strong knowledge of Git and experience working with GitLab and/or GitHub. Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Grafana and Prometheus. Independent, structured, and solution-oriented way of working. Strong communication skills and experience working in agile teams. Proficiency in written and spoken English, German is an advantage.
