What you'll do

  • Partner directly with Marketing and Product leadership to turn vague business problems into clear metrics and actionable hypotheses.
  • Build, iterate, and monitor statistical models.
  • Distinguish genuine causal impact from correlation to optimize marketing spend and product growth.
  • Design holdout tests and quasi-experiments (or A/B tests) where clean randomization isn't possible.
  • Move rapidly from hypothesis to verified proof-of-concept.
  • Translate complex algorithmic behavior into simple, visual narratives for US/UK stakeholders.
  • Develop predictive models and performance reporting frameworks that enable stakeholders across the organization to make informed investment decisions.
  • Lead complex data science initiatives that impact the Core Tech roadmap.
  • National and international expected traveling time varies according to project/client and organizational needs: 0%-15% estimated.

  • Is an Effective Communicator: You possess clear, fluent English communication skills and are comfortable presenting technical work to non-technical business leaders.
  • Statistical Rigor: Proven experience building statistical or ML models, with a deep understanding of causality vs. correlation in real-world data (e.g., Diff-in-Diff, propensity scores, uplift, or structural time series).
  • Programming: Advanced proficiency in either Python OR R for multi-dimensional data handling (both are not required).
  • Data Carpentry: Advanced SQL skills to independently query, clean, and architect complex datasets.
  • Preferred: experience in Gaming, Entertainment, or Marketing (LTV, Churn, Retention, Segmentation).
  • Preferred: Familiarity with Geo-lift, holdouts, or formal A/B testing frameworks.
  • Preferred: Experience with Databricks, Snowflake, major Cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure), AI/ML toolkits, or Bayesian libraries.
