What you'll do

  • Own a portfolio of brand accounts and be accountable for driving retention, adoption and revenue growth across them.
  • Work closely with the Head of Client Success to identify the accounts with the most potential.
  • Build structured account plans.
  • Run commercial client conversations.
  • Make sure that growth opportunities are identified and progressed.
  • Understand what marketing, e-commerce, CRM, loyalty and partnership teams are trying to achieve.
  • Shape practical campaign recommendations and commercial opportunities around client goals.
  • Quickly understand where the biggest opportunities are and build momentum with clients who have the potential to grow with Gocertify.
  • Prioritise your time across a broad portfolio based on value, risk and opportunity.
  • Build account plans that connect client goals to practical revenue opportunities.
  • Run structured QBRs that are commercially focused.
  • Identify and progress expansion, upsell and cross-sell opportunities across both established and high-potential accounts.
  • Own a growth and retention target across your book, and report against it.
  • Keep CRM records, next steps and opportunities accurate and up to date.
  • Manage renewals across your portfolio and identify risks early.
  • Use client feedback, usage data and commercial judgement to understand account health.
  • Hold commercial conversations around value, performance, contract terms and next steps.
  • Work with internal teams to resolve blockers that may affect retention.
  • Build practical plans to reduce churn and improve client outcomes.
  • Help clients connect their goals to practical campaign recommendations.
  • Support clients to launch, improve or expand targeted discount campaigns.
  • Identify where adoption is low and build practical plans to address it.
  • Run early check-ins after launch to make sure clients are set up for success.
  • Spot friction in the client experience and help remove it.
  • Share client feedback with Sales, Product and Partnerships.
  • Flag common challenges, requests and growth blockers.
  • Help the team understand which client segments, use cases or campaigns are creating the most value.
  • Contribute ideas that improve product, positioning and account management approach.
  • Help build the processes and playbooks that make Client Success more consistent as the company grows.

What they require

  • Established experience in a commercially accountable Client Success, Account Management or equivalent role, ideally in SaaS or another subscription business.
  • A track record of carrying a commercial target and hitting it.

  • Strong relationship-building skills, with excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Experience managing a broad portfolio of client relationships where commercial outcomes - growth, renewal, expansion - were part of your remit.
  • Experience across a mixed book matters more than depth on a handful of large accounts.
  • A data-informed approach to identifying client risks, problems and opportunities.
  • Excel in commercial conversations - talking about value, performance, contract terms and next steps.
  • Strong prioritisation skills - you know how to triage a large account list and focus on where the value is.
  • Confidence with CRM data and a disciplined approach to tracking activity and pipeline.
  • Clear written and verbal communication with clients and internal teams.
  • A bias towards action and ownership - you follow up, you move things forward, you do not wait to be chased.
  • Comfort working in a fast-moving, lightly structured environment where not every process exists yet.
  • Preferred: Knowledge of retail, e-commerce, affiliate or marketing landscapes.
  • Strong discovery and client understanding.
  • Excellent at understanding what a retailer is trying to achieve, both at a business and individual stakeholder level.
  • Ability to ask good questions, get beneath surface-level requests and identify where Gocertify can create the most value.
  • Strategic solution-selling ability.
  • Ability to turn client objectives into a clear recommendation.
  • Comfortable connecting Gocertify’s features to the client’s goals and telling a compelling story about why that solution makes sense.
  • Comfortable using data, ROI forecasts and persuasive commercial thinking to convince clients why they should care.
  • Excited by smarter ways of working.
  • Curious, adaptable and proactive in using better workflows to work better and more efficiently.
  • Core working hours: 10am-4pm UK time.
  • Fully remote, UK-based, with monthly in-person meetings in London.
