What you'll do

  • Lead the baseline establishment efforts by partnering with NTT’s general contractors.
  • Review General Contractors’ project schedules to identify potential concerns/issues with a focus on mitigation.
  • Develop monthly internal reports and communicate schedule risks with the project stakeholders.
  • Create schedule what-if scenarios to influence and drive decision making.
  • Create and maintain high-level internal schedules and ensure NTT delivers its planned capacity on time.
  • Implement scheduling best practices and drive standardization across the program.
  • Develop scheduling key performance indicators and create scheduling dashboards.
  • Communicate schedule health with the project key stakeholders.
  • Review Time Impact Analysis and provide feedback to the construction team and general contractors.
  • Partner closely with NTT GDCA preconstruction, design, supply chain, and project management to plan the project and maintain control through the project life cycle.
  • Lead schedule meetings with the construction team and general contractors.
  • Collect as built data and work with the scheduling team in developing schedule standards and benchmarks.
  • Review/analyze the General Contractors’ schedules and report schedule health to the Sr. Manager, Construction Scheduling and other stakeholders.
  • Assist in analyzing schedule delays by reviewing the General Contractors’ Time Impact Analysis.

What they require

  • Fully versed in critical path scheduling requirements for construction projects.
  • Proficient in Primavera P6 scheduling software.
  • Demonstrated ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications to understand, build, and approve/accept schedules produced by contractors.
  • Experience with earned value management and ability to utilize it in internal reporting.
  • Experience in reviewing time impact analysis and recovery schedules.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects and set priorities based on the business needs.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving skills.
  • Capability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to clearly set and lead meetings to develop strong project control systems.
  • Ability to integrate data from P6 into power BI dashboards.
  • Ability to be highly confidential.
  • Proficient with computers to include the utilization of Microsoft programs such as Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Manages stress and/or fast pace effectively.
  • Excellent analytical, creative thinking, written and verbal communication skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Business, or Engineering.
  • 10 years’ experience with construction scheduling responsibilities, that include schedule development, schedule analysis, earned value analysis, and forensic scheduling.
  • Preferred: Experience with Data Centers or high-tech construction projects is preferred.
  • Preferred: PSP or PMP certified is preferred.
  • Primarily sitting with some walking, standing, and bending.
  • Able to hear and speak into a telephone.
  • Close visual work on a computer terminal.
  • Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate any required computer keyboard, mouse, and other technical instruments.
  • Able to lift and carry up to 20 lbs.
  • Standard office; Data Center environment with varying temperatures and loud noises; extensive daily usage of workstation or computer.
  • Perform work from a remote location with stable internet connection.
  • Ability to travel up to 25%
  • This is a remote position that requires reliable internet connection and electricity.
