Job Description
As a Client Relationship Manager at Olsson, you are responsible for the client management and growth strategy for a specific client or a group of clients. As the primary point of contact, you will establish key contacts across the firm, cross-sell overall services, and manage strategic project pursuits with the specified client. This role is critical in driving and executing client growth strategy while ensuring excellent client service through consistent communication both internally and externally.
Responsibilities:
- Develops, drives, and executes an overall client growth strategy, identifying new opportunities for the firm to provide services to the client(s) in the agriculture market.
- Anticipate and understand client needs, preferences, goals, and current satisfaction level through a deep understanding of the client’s business and industry. Provide customized solutions to meet those needs.
- Initiate and maintain relationships with key contacts, including clients, partners, community stakeholders, and political entities. Guide relationships with key clients.
- May lead or collaborate with other internal staff on community-wide engagement efforts to strengthen the firm’s brand and connections to key decision-makers relevant to the client based on client type.
- Serve as the main point of contact for the specified client, ensuring their satisfaction and addressing any concerns or issues promptly.
- Align technical and project management expertise to meet client needs and coordinate with leadership to ensure client objectives and standards are met.
- Manage project pursuits with the client and have high level understanding of all projects with the client to ensure contractual obligations are being met and client satisfaction. 2
- Lead the pursuit effort for proposals related to the client. This includes coordinating with internal staff to describe the project and identify resources to best position for the opportunity. Also includes working with Marketing staff to prepare resumes and formal proposals.
- May serve as a project manager, or have technical involvement, with one or more projects with the client.
- Leads all client negotiations and ensures client-specific billing and contract standards are applied.
