What you'll do

  • Own the daily execution of Borrowing Base calculations, Loan Sales, and operational workflows.
  • Ensure 100% data integrity and on-time lender submissions that protect Addi's liquidity.
  • Build the operational foundation needed to scale the company's capital markets facilities.
  • Design and document the daily monitoring and reporting workflow for the facility.
  • Establish coordination protocols with operations teams and internal stakeholders.
  • Independently own end-to-end Borrowing Base calculations and loan sale processes in Databricks and Excel.
  • Eliminate the current single point of failure and achieve full independent execution.
  • Partner with the data team to design and transition manual balance updates into automated pipelines.
  • Reduce manual handling across high-volume Excel files.
  • Maintain a lender-specific cut-off calendar.
  • Proactively flag at-risk deliverables.
  • Build buffer into the daily workflow to deliver zero late Borrowing Base submissions.
  • Reorganize and standardize the Drive repository with version control protocols and filing conventions.
  • Ensure any CMO file can be located and verified within minutes during a lender or regulatory audit within 60 days of hire.

What they require

  • Proven experience in financial operations within a bank, brokerage, or structured finance environment.
  • 2–3 years working in a financial institution such as a bank, asset manager, brokerage, or fintech with regulated credit operations.
  • Direct exposure to capital markets or treasury operations.
  • Experience operating within processes with hard external deadlines and zero tolerance for errors, such as settlements, reconciliations, credit facility reporting, or similar.
  • Preferred: Prior exposure to Borrowing Base calculations, loan sales, or credit facility management.
  • Preferred: Back-office or operations background at banks such as Bancolombia, Davivienda, BTG, or equivalent.
  • Proven experience handling high-stakes financial data operations with zero-error tolerance.
  • Experience owning daily financial reporting or operational processes where errors had direct downstream consequences for cash flows, lender relationships, or regulatory filings.
  • Ability to describe a specific instance where they caught a data discrepancy before it left the team, how they found it, and what would have happened if it had not been caught.
  • Preferred: Prior exposure to structured finance operations such as Borrowing Bases, loan sales, or credit facilities.
  • Solid expertise in Excel and data tools for large-scale financial file management.
  • Advanced Excel skills including complex formulas, data validation, and managing files large enough to require splitting or performance optimization, not just pivots and basic lookups.
  • Ability to interpret Databricks query outputs and translate them into operational reports without hand-holding from the data team.
  • Willingness to learn SQL is a must.
  • Ability to operate with discipline under strict, recurring external deadlines.
  • Experience managing daily or intraday deliverables with hard cut-off times set by external counterparties such as lenders, regulators, or custodians.
  • Maintains accuracy under time pressure without taking shortcuts.
  • Organizes work proactively to build buffer rather than reacting when deadlines are close.
  • Track record of flagging operational risks to the team lead early, not after the deadline has passed.
  • Track record of maintaining audit-ready documentation and file governance.
  • Experience owning a document repository or filing system for financial records, including version control, naming conventions, and access management.
  • Understands the difference between organized enough for daily use and audit-ready, and has supported or prepared for an actual audit.
  • Takes personal ownership of workspace cleanliness as a professional standard, not a compliance checkbox.
  • Experience identifying process inefficiencies and driving operational automation.
  • Has flagged a manual process that could be automated and followed through on the initiative.
  • Has collaborated with data or engineering teams to transition a manual workflow into an automated one and can describe the process, friction, and outcome.
  • Approaches repetitive work with a mindset of eliminating it within 6 months.
  • Demonstrated background in leveraging AI tools to accelerate financial and operational work.
  • Regularly uses AI tools to draft documentation, structure analysis, or reduce repetitive manual effort.
  • Applies critical judgment to AI outputs, validates accuracy, edits for context, and knows when the output cannot be trusted without human verification.
  • Proactively identifies where AI assistance can reduce operational friction without creating new accuracy risks.
