Botty, a Ukrainian product company in Crypto & FinTech, is seeking a Senior Backend Developer to take ownership of performance, reliability, and architecture of backend services for their automated trading platform used by over 9,000 users worldwide.
📋 Responsibilities include:
- Develop backend platform for automated trading and new features (trading strategies, order management).
- Design APIs and seamless integrations with cryptocurrency exchanges.
- Optimize performance (highload), reduce latency, and improve system stability.
- Evolve microservice architecture and asynchronous interactions via RabbitMQ.
- Optimize data structures and complex SQL queries in PostgreSQL.
- Set up monitoring (Grafana, Prometheus), CI/CD, and work with API security.
- Conduct code reviews and mentor Junior/Middle developers.
🔑 Requirements (Must-have):
- 5+ years in backend development.
- Deep experience with Node.js, TypeScript, and NestJS (or similar frameworks).
- Experience building high-load REST APIs.
- PostgreSQL: designing structures, optimizing complex queries and indexing.
- RabbitMQ: designing queues and reliable async processes.
- Docker and Kubernetes: containerization and production scaling.
- Understanding performance bottlenecks, profiling, caching.
- English — B1 and above.
