We are seeking a Senior Azure DevOps Engineer to join our Cloud Center of Excellence (CCoE) team, responsible for delivering a flexible and reliable automated cloud platform that accelerates cloud adoption, maximizes business benefits, and reduces risk while supporting sustainable growth and innovative cloud solutions.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement software delivery pipelines on the Microsoft Azure platform
- Deploy, monitor, and manage cloud services to ensure reliability and performance
- Build and deploy resources using Infrastructure-as-Code principles
- Develop automation solutions leveraging Azure DevOps
- Perform operational tasks using cloud native tools such as Log Analytics, Azure Monitor, and Azure Security Center
- Maintain and update documentation, including product descriptions and operational procedures, on the CCoE wiki
- Take ownership of development and operational activities as part of a multidisciplinary DevOps team
- Support internal customers throughout the onboarding process and beyond
- Ensure the security posture of internal customers within the environment
- Execute tasks related to network platform operations
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience configuring and managing IaaS and PaaS solutions, including Virtual Machines, WebApp, Database services, Kubernetes, Data Lake, and Databricks
- Knowledge of networking principles and protocols such as IP subnetting, Network Security Groups, routing, Azure Firewall, ExpressRoute, load balancer, and DNS
- Proficiency in Azure DevOps for automated deployment processes
- Engineering and coding skills applied within agile methodologies
- Understanding of Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) concepts to maximize automation, reduce waste, and increase scale
- Familiarity with Azure cloud native tooling and cost/security-conscious solution design
- Strong documentation, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to adjust language to audience needs
- Customer-focused mindset with the ability to deliver results independently and with limited supervision
- Continuous improvement mindset and strong team collaboration skills
- English proficiency at B2 level or higher
Nice to have
- Familiarity with PowerShell, ARM/Bicep, and YAML for build task automation
- Knowledge of Terraform and C# for infrastructure automation
