What you'll do

  • End-to-End Analytical Ownership
  • Own analytical workstreams with limited oversight on global client engagements.
  • Conduct situational analyses, identify and prioritize trends, and run stakeholder workshops and in-depth interviews.
  • Review and analyze financial and primary data, synthesizing your insights into clear recommendations and presenting findings directly to client teams.
  • Build high-quality PPT and Excel deliverables while managing stakeholder communications and framing the next phase of active engagements.
  • Quality Control & Risk Management
  • Take full ownership of quality assurance and control across your workstream outputs, holding all work to Skift Advisory’s rigorous "zero defect" standard.
  • Demonstrate resilience through project setbacks by escalating risks proactively—always coming to the table with a proposed solution rather than just the problem.
  • Mentorship & Thought Leadership
  • Support and informally mentor Associate-level colleagues by upholding and championing Skift Advisory’s values, culture, and ways of working.
  • Author internal knowledge assets, playbooks, and case studies.
  • Declare a primary specialty lane (e.g., Destinations & Tourism Boards, Hospitality & Lodging, Aviation & Mobility, or Travel Tech) to begin building visible, external expertise.

What they require

  • Consulting Expertise: You are friendly, engaging, and highly confident in your experience, skills, and abilities as a dynamic consultant.
  • Analytical Rigor: The ability to clearly communicate complex ideas, particularly those involving quantitative and qualitative research alongside quantitative analytical models.
  • Proactive Leadership: A self-starter mindset with the ability to lead, motivate others, and collaborate effectively with both individuals and teams.
  • Client-Facing Confidence: The capability to build strong working and mid-level client relationships while developing your own external professional presence.
  • Industry Passion: You are a lifelong learner with a deep, genuine passion for the business of global travel.
  • You hold a Bachelor’s degree from a leading institution, while an advanced degree (MBA, MA, MSc) in business management, economics, or other relevant field is considered a plus
  • You have a minimum of 2 to 4 years experience at a leading management consultancy (e.g., Bain, BCG, Deloitte, Accenture, Oliver Wyman, or similar) in a client-facing role
  • You are fluent in English, with competency in an additional global business language (e.g., Arabic, French, Spanish) considered a plus
