Senior fundraising/development leader responsible for cultivating and soliciting corporate, foundation, institutional and individual donors. Requires a Bachelor’s degree and 7 years related experience and experience asking for and closing six- and seven-figure gifts, including planned gifts. Role is remote within the USA (job location: Remote, USA).

What you'll do

  • Develops, implements, and manages multi-year strategies and plans for the cultivation and solicitation of gift prospects (corporate, foundation, institutional, and individual).
  • Cultivates donors across annual giving to major and planned gifts and is responsible for direct asks to support global and regional priorities.
  • Discusses and incorporates gifts of assets, blended gifts, and planned giving into donor proposals.
  • Manages and maintains relationships with global and regional relationship managers and ensures programmatic work is collaborative and integrated across philanthropy and the organization.
  • Provides advice, guidance, and oversight for NAPGR program functions including the Trustee Advocacy Program; establishes and tracks measures and lead indicators of progress.

What they require

  • Bachelor’s degree and 7 years related experience.
  • Experience building and maintaining long-term relationships with major donors and corporations.
  • Experience asking for and closing six- and seven-figure gifts, including planned gifts.
  • Experience managing and tracking multiple prospects and donors.
  • Experience with fundraising principles and practices and training/knowledge of current trends in charitable giving (capital campaigns, major gifts, planned giving).
