The Senior Associate of Consumer Communications will play a central role in driving earned storytelling initiatives that build the Ro brand and highlight Ro’s award-winning products, services and patient ambassadors. Reporting to the Senior Director of Communications, this individual will be part of a broader cross-functional effort, partnering daily with teams across Comms, Growth, Brand, Clinical, and external agency partners. This individual will own key storytelling pillars — including patient storytelling, expert commentary, and data-driven insights — and help bring Brand/Marketing campaigns and Company announcements to life through thoughtful, strategic media engagement. The ideal candidate is energized by working with media, has a strong pulse on consumer trends across traditional and social platforms, and can think critically about how each storytelling opportunity connects back to Ro’s products, services, and long-term goals. Our dream candidate is passionate about Ro’s mission to help as many patients as possible achieve their health goals. They are an organized operator with strong project management skills who can independently move initiatives forward while keeping stakeholders aligned. They are comfortable digging into data and reporting platforms to quantify impact and bring forward insights. They have a writing voice that makes complex healthcare topics digestible and compelling to consumer audiences. They are not afraid to take ownership of projects and identify new opportunities that elevate the team’s work.
