LISC Fund Management (LFM) is seeking an experienced Senior Asset Manager to oversee a portfolio of mission-driven real estate and community development debt and equity investments. This role involves managing borrower relationships, monitoring portfolio performance, identifying risks, and supporting successful loan outcomes.

What you'll do

  • Serve as the primary relationship manager for an assigned portfolio of debt and equity investments across designated LFM-managed funds.
  • Monitor borrower performance through analysis of financial statements, operating results, property cash flows, rent rolls, budgets, and other portfolio reporting.
  • Prepare portfolio analyses, loan summaries, impairment analyses, and asset performance reports for management review.
  • Serve as the primary asset manager for assigned watchlist, non-performing, and defaulted loans.
  • Collaborate closely with Underwriting, Construction Management, Loan Administration, Fund Management, Legal, and Servicing to support effective portfolio management throughout the investment lifecycle.

What they require

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Real Estate, Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in loan asset management, with at least 2 years in non-consumer or commercial lending.
  • Experience managing debt and equity investments within real estate funds.
  • Demonstrated experience analyzing commercial real estate financial statements, property operating performance, and borrower cash flows.
  • Experience with watchlist assets, workouts, foreclosures, or special asset management.
