What you'll do

  • Helps orient and train new hires.
  • Provides mentorship to other members of the team.
  • Proactively identifies opportunities for internal process improvement initiatives, proposes solutions, and leads execution of solutions.
  • Establishes trust and strong working relationships with all team members and across departments.
  • Owns customer facing and internal communication of complex issues and risks.
  • Proactively provides project updates and communicates risks to internal stakeholders.
  • Effectively escalates project and customer issues and risks to Manager as needed.
  • Creates and manages implementation plan to ensure successful, on time go-live.
  • Reviews and signs off on large deliverables prior to delivery to Operations or client IT.
  • Independently identifies implementation risks and escalations and shares considerations and proposed resolution steps with manager for review and approval.
  • Manages communication, documentation, and resolution once path forward is determined.
  • Experienced in data integration, data analytics, QA processes, and software workflow design (e.g., using SQL server or equivalent to query large data sets, creating technical process flows, learning database tables, creating .json/.txt files.).
  • Advanced understanding of common healthcare data exchange methods such as HL7, extracts, and API.
  • Effectively organizes/tracks daily tasks, prioritizes assignments, and meets deadlines.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and performing tasks autonomously without direct oversight or direction.
  • Coachable, hungry for feedback, and dedicated to continuous self-improvement.
  • Completes required education and professional certification to further self-development.
  • Shows initiative to learn and grow from leaders as well as peers.
  • Experienced in project management (e.g., lead meetings, draft status reports, develop/manage project plans, track issues, identify risks, develop/monitor resource plans, etc.)
  • Experience working with real-time data integration (HL7) or managing daily file intake processes for software solutions
  • Ability to work on multiple projects at once, prioritize and execute many tasks, and resolve issues quickly
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and performing tasks autonomously without direct oversight or direction
  • Experience building and managing client relationships

  • General understanding of healthcare revenue cycle management (RCM), including patient access, registration/admission, and patient financial services
