In this remote role, you will be responsible for designing and developing autonomous AI agents that automate virtual pre-construction, 3D digital twin generation, and estimation workflows. You'll play a key role in leveraging cutting-edge agentic AI, machine learning, and robotics concepts to transform manual building estimation into AI-driven, human-in-the-loop processes, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, high-performance AI solutions. Position: Senior AI Engineer Salary: INR 155,000 - 390,000 per month (depending on experience, technical depth, and architectural capability) Working Hours & Conditions: Mondays to Fridays, AU/NZ business hours; full-time (remote) Holidays : TBD Responsibilities: Design, develop, and deploy autonomous AI agents to automate virtual pre-construction, building plan interpretation, and estimation workflows. Build and optimize agentic AI workflows that extract geometry, identify materials, and execute multi-step quantity estimation processes. Develop AI-powered solutions that significantly reduce estimation turnaround times by automating repetitive and manual tasks. Integrate modern AI technologies and LLM orchestration frameworks, including LangChain, LangGraph, Claude Code, AutoGen, and similar tools, into production-ready applications. Apply robotics, computer vision, and spatial reasoning techniques to interpret 2D drawings and 3D digital twin models. Design and enhance Human-in-the-Loop (HITL) workflows, enabling AI-generated outputs to be efficiently reviewed and validated by estimators. Develop and maintain high-performance, scalable software using C++ and other performance-oriented technologies where appropriate. Integrate AI workflows with cloud services, APIs, and internal platforms to ensure seamless end-to-end automation. Optimize system performance, reliability, and accuracy while maintaining deterministic AI outputs. Collaborate with product, engineering, and domain experts to design, test, and continuously improve AI-driven automation solutions. Research, evaluate, and implement emerging AI technologies and best practices to enhance the platform's capabilities. Document technical solutions, workflows, and system architecture to support ongoing development and knowledge sharing. Requirements Qualifications: Proven experience as an AI Engineer, Machine Learning Engineer, Applied AI Engineer, Robotics Engineer, or in a similar role. Strong programming experience in C++ or other performance-oriented languages such as Rust or C# , with a solid understanding of systems programming concepts. Hands-on experience developing AI-powered applications using Python and modern machine learning frameworks. Experience building autonomous or agentic AI workflows using tools such as LangChain , LangGraph , Claude Code , AutoGen , or similar LLM orchestration frameworks. Strong understanding of Large Language Models (LLMs), Generative AI, prompt engineering, and AI agent architectures. Experience with robotics, computer vision, spatial reasoning, reinforcement learning, or autonomous systems is highly desirable. Knowledge of API development and integration, cloud platforms, and scalable software architecture. Experience working with Human-in-the-Loop (HITL) workflows or AI-assisted automation solutions is an advantage. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to automate complex, multi-step business processes. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote, cross-functional environment. Portfolio is required. Nice to Have Experience working with CAD, BIM, 3D models, digital twins, or computational geometry. Background in computer vision for architectural plans, drawings, or spatial data analysis. Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform. Experience building production-ready AI systems with a focus on performance, scalability, and reliability.
