What you'll do
- Own and execute month-end and year-end close activities across multiple legal entities
- Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, adjustments, and reconciliations
- Maintain an accurate and complete general ledger
- Support the preparation of financial statements and statutory reporting
- Review balance sheet and P&L accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Investigate variances and resolve accounting discrepancies
- Maintain strong accounting controls and compliance with internal policies
- Identify opportunities to simplify and improve close-related processes
- Drive standardization across accounting activities and legal entities
- Support automation initiatives that reduce manual effort and improve accuracy
- Partner closely with Revenue, Accounts Payable, Payroll, Tax, and other Finance teams
- Support external auditors by preparing schedules, documentation, and explanations
What they require
- 4–5+ years of experience in General Ledger accounting, financial reporting, or audit
- Strong knowledge of IFRS, GAAP, and core accounting principles
- Hands-on experience managing month-end close and account reconciliations
- Experience working with multiple legal entities or complex accounting structures
- Strong analytical thinking with exceptional attention to detail
