What you'll do

  • Develop new business opportunities through outbound prospecting, networking, and in-person engagement.
  • Lead discovery conversations with district stakeholders to understand priorities and needs.
  • Deliver presentations and product demonstrations.
  • Own the sales process from outreach to negotiation and close.
  • Develop and execute a strategic territory plan across the territory, focusing on district adoption of core instructional materials in Math, Science, and ELA.
  • Travel throughout the territory approximately 2–3 times per week to meet with prospects and customers.

What they require

  • 8+ years of proven success in sales, particularly within K-12 education and curriculum.
  • Proven success owning and delivering against an annual sales target of up to $2M.
  • Experience using CRM and sales engagement platforms such as Salesforce and Salesloft.
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Skill at uncovering customer priorities, understanding complex needs, and developing trusted long-term partnerships.
  • K-12 education expertise: knowledge of the education landscape, school districts, and decision-making processes.
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 30% throughout California for customer meetings and conferences.
