What you'll do

  • Lead the Data Center segment and the assigned team within the German sales organization (EL SB / SP)
  • Coordinate and steer Data Center projects within the German and international ABB organization
  • Expand and strategically develop the Data Center segment in Germany
  • Develop application concepts in medium voltage, low-voltage switchgear (NSHV), and UPS systems to enable the national sales teams
  • Build strong relationships with key customers and external stakeholders
  • Design and execute marketing campaigns and plans in collaboration with German and international marketing teams
  • Represent ABB in relevant industry associations and working groups
  • Activate market intelligence and benchmarking to identify industry trends, product gaps, and competitor strategies

What they require

  • Proven track record of success in the Data Center sector in Germany, ideally combined with international experience
  • More than 5 years of experience in sales of technical products and systems for electrical energy distribution and/or supply, particularly in critical infrastructure
  • Deep technical understanding of relevant power and automation technologies
  • Extensive knowledge of the German Data Center market and an established professional network
  • Strategic, analytical, and collaborative mindset, with the ability to work effectively across business units and geographies
  • Fluent English (spoken and written); German language skills are a strong advantage
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Technology, or a related field
