What you'll do

  • Take ownership of protecting the product, users, and collaborators as EverAI scales its AI companionship platform.
  • Work hands-on across application security, risk and compliance, and security awareness.
  • Monitor AI-specific threats as the product line evolves.
  • Help keep systems and users safe in a product environment involving AI-generated content, including NSFW content.
  • Report directly to the Security Lead with regular priority check-ins.
  • Perform weekly code reviews to catch vulnerabilities before they ship.
  • Track, prioritize, and drive remediation of security vulnerabilities across the stack.
  • Coordinate external security audits and penetration tests and follow through on findings.
  • Maintain and evolve the risk register, mapping company services and prioritizing exposed areas.
  • Support audit follow-up and keep GRC documentation up to date.
  • Communicate new threats to the team, document findings, and broadcast security updates company-wide.
  • Run phishing simulations and security training via Riot.
  • Own monitoring of security channels and alerts, including weekend coverage.
  • Set up and secure new employee devices using MDM.
  • Manage access provisioning and deprovisioning.
  • Monitor emerging attack techniques targeting generative AI, including prompt injection, jailbreaks, and content filter bypass.
  • Track security incidents and vulnerabilities disclosed by third-party AI providers EverAI relies on.

What they require

  • Solid experience in application security, including code review and vulnerability management.
  • Experience coordinating or conducting penetration tests or security audits.
  • Comfortable shipping code and working with Git/GitHub workflows.
  • Scripting/automation skills.
  • Strong communication and collaborative skills.
  • Perfectly fluent in English.
  • Goal-orientated, with ownership and commitment.
  • Doer mindset; able to balance execution, planning, and strategy in a fast-moving environment.
  • Humble, willing to learn, and open to feedback.
  • Comfortable working in an environment with products based on uncensored models and content.
  • Long-term commitment and impact matter for contract type.
  • Preferred: familiarity with AI/LLM security concepts such as prompt injection, jailbreaking, and adversarial testing.
