What you'll do

  • Oversee and manage day-to-day SOC operations, monitoring, analyzing, and responding to security alerts and incidents.
  • Identify, investigate, and respond to cybersecurity threats using monitoring tools, SIEM platforms, and security technologies.
  • Lead or support incident response, including root cause analysis, mitigation, and post-incident reporting.
  • Develop and maintain custom scripts to automate security processes, improve threat detection, and streamline incident response workflows.
  • Analyze logs, network traffic, and system behavior to detect potential breaches or anomalies.
  • Support deployment, configuration, and optimization of SIEM, SOAR, IDS/IPS, firewalls, and EDR solutions.
  • Work with IT, DevOps, and security teams to implement consistent security practices and protective measures.
  • Participate in development and maintenance of security policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to SOC team improvement.

  • Experience with XDR, DLP, and UBA tools and concepts.
  • Good understanding of network protocols and system security.
  • Windows and Linux experience.
  • Experience with CI/CD and DevOps practices.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Familiarity with version control.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
