What you'll do

  • Act as the creative leader for new product design and creation within the external embellishment (Embelex) product portfolio
  • Contribute to the creative direction for seasonal trim collections, ensuring they align with current industry trends
  • Help shape trend-focused sample collections that highlight Embelex's embellishment portfolio across both apparel and secondary markets
  • Guide the overall creative vision, design, and development product strategy for Embelex seasonal sample collections
  • Drive and own end-to-end operational launch success through calendar and process accountability and strategic evolutions
  • Stay on top of industry trends by conducting regular market and competitive analysis for knowledge of emerging consumer trends, product innovations, segmentation, and competitors
  • Provide design and product technical support to the newness team, fostering creative troubleshooting and solutions mindset
  • Validate back-end support for global launch, including sample distribution, product photography, product merchandising support, and product data distribution

What they require

  • Bachelor’s degree in Design, Textile, Fine Arts, or equivalent experience preferred
  • Up to 5 years of experience as a graphic designer in a commercial design setting or freelance capacity, preferably in the apparel and footwear industry
  • Strong proficiency in graphic design, trims/embellishment design, and applying seasonal fashion trend forecasts to production artwork
  • Expert presentation and communication skills, with proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and digital presentation tools
  • Applicants are required to submit a design portfolio
  • Final candidates must successfully complete a comprehensive background check and a drug screening
