SAP PO / CI Consultant (m/f/d)

We are looking for a SAP PO / CI Consultant, who will join LEONI’s Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) team and become a core part of our growing Data & Integration hub in Cluj-Napoca. You will work hands-on with SAP Process Orchestration (PO) and SAP Cloud Integration (CI), supporting the strategic migration from SAP PO to SAP Cloud Integration / Integration Suite ahead of SAP PO's end of support in 2027, while also keeping day-to-day interface operations running smoothly.

In this role, you will:

• Design, develop, test, and deploy integration solutions using SAP Process Orchestration (PO) and SAP Cloud Integration (CI).
• Build and maintain interfaces, adapters, mappings, routing, and transformation logic across SAP and non-SAP applications in cloud and on-premise environments.
• Support, monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize real-time and asynchronous integration processes to ensure stable and secure operations.
• Analyze existing SAP PO interfaces and execute their migration to SAP Cloud Integration / Integration Suite, following the organization's integration roadmap.
• Contribute to API management, hybrid integration scenarios, and the creation of reusable integration components, standards, and documentation.
• Act as a technical liaison between business stakeholders, IT operations, and distributed integration teams, while providing advanced (2nd/3rd level) support.
• Promote integration governance, best practices, and continuous improvement initiatives, while mentoring colleagues and helping expand Data & Integration capabilities.
• Proven hands-on experience with SAP Process Orchestration (PO), SAP Cloud Integration (CI), or SAP Integration Suite.
• Strong knowledge of iFlow development, message mapping, adapters, routing, monitoring, and integration troubleshooting.
• Understanding of API management principles and hybrid integration architectures spanning cloud and on-premise environments.
• Fluent German (business level, spoken and written) and good English communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in international teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical integration solutions.
• Familiarity with SAP BTP Integration Suite, cloud-native integration patterns, and related SAP integration technologies is an advantage.
• Additional experience with ABAP, interface development, SAP Data Services/ETL, SAP certifications, or complex manufacturing and automotive environments is considered beneficial.
• You will join a cross-functional, cross-location team, working closely with our SAP PO & CI Lead Expert and the SAP Data Services team.
