UK-based sales specialist for Safety & Cleanroom products (PPE and specialist equipment). Full-time permanent role covering North of the UK; requires extensive sales experience (5+ years preferred) and knowledge of safety/controlled environment products. Must hold a full UK driving licence and be able to travel regularly in-region.

What you'll do

  • Promote and sell Safety & Cleanroom portfolio of products (including PPE and specialist equipment) directly to customers and through Account Managers
  • Provide technical and product support to general and key account managers
  • Organise and attend regular visits with customers, fulfilling sales and margin targets for the territory
  • Provide weekly reports to Sales Manager and maintain customer data (visits, prospects, tasks)
  • Establish positive relationships with suppliers to support business growth via joint marketing activity and price support

What they require

  • Degree in Scientific or Engineering discipline preferred but not essential
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in a commercial role, or equivalent industry experience
  • Prior experience working with laboratory & pharmaceutical production companies preferred
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Knowledge of Safety and/or Controlled Environment Products is essential
  • Extensive sales experience or relevant occupational experience to ensure maximisation of sales opportunities and growth.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong IT skills, including proficiency with the Microsoft Office package and good report writing ability
  • Flexibility to travel regularly within your region, and organisational skills to manage own schedule
