What you'll do

  • Work directly with customers, partners and sales leadership to bring deals to fruition.
  • Leverage your high level of sales acumen and enterprise technology expertise on a daily basis.
  • Partner closely with the global sales organization to prioritize resources that put us in the best position to meet our targets.
  • GTM: Reaching, assessing client pain-points and needs, and following through with the best solutions.
  • Successfully manage stakeholders at all levels, CIOs / CTOs / CXOs, DBAs, and Experience across channel sales from ISVs to vendors and consultancies.
  • Travel, when needed, to support sales efforts and help grow the scope of opportunities, engineer tangible solutions for customers, and assist in driving deal closures.
  • Travel to man a booth at conferences when needed.

What they require

  • 8 to 10 years of hands-on Senior Sales Engineer Experience
  • Strong Database or Database Architecture skills (MariaDB or MySQL strongly preferred, with a good knowledge of Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server).
  • In-memory compute platform skills, such as Redis and Apache Ignite, are desirable
  • A working understanding of other databases and open-source technologies.
  • Experience working on complex customer PoC engagements.
  • Experience collaborating with customer success and field teams in customer orientation efforts.
  • The ability and willingness to travel as needed, along with working off-hours when required.
  • The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and be highly organized.
  • Very strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Fundamental knowledge of programming languages, web stack technologies, Linux, AI development, etc.
  • Experience working 100% remotely with regional travel as required.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field
  • English fluency, both verbally and in writing, is mandatory; additional regional language skills are preferred
  • Flexibility to travel up to 40% of the time (valid passport required).
