We are currently looking for a Sales Engineer who thrives on consulting, advising and supporting our network of partners in transforming homeowners’ spaces into their favourite places. Your challenges Joining VELUX, you will become part of a dedicated team focused on selling our solutions through our ecosystem of professional partners. You will work closely with our internal departments, including technical support, customer service, after-sales services and marketing, with the shared goal of influencing as many homeowners as possible through appealing and attractive solutions. Your core challenge will be to maintain and develop strong commercial relationships with a portfolio of existing customers, mainly installers and roofers, as well as architects in your region. You will communicate how our solutions create desirable and healthy living environments while remaining attractive for our partners to promote. In addition, your main responsibilities will be to: Select and proactively visit a group of prospects to help them grow their sales with VELUX, based on quantified analyses of your customer portfolio. Listen to customers’ needs and identify opportunities to help them grow sustainably with VELUX. Respond to market demand with quick, efficient and professional follow-up. Provide technical support on our product range. Participate in technical-commercial events and professional construction fairs to make new contacts and detect new opportunities. Monitor your market to understand its challenges and continuously strengthen the positioning of the VELUX brand, both online and offline. Your qualifications You are enthusiastic and share our passion for our products and strategy. You connect easily with others and know how to convince your conversation partners. You are service-minded, empathetic, autonomous, well- organised and results-oriented. Moreover, we expect that: You have at least a bachelor’s degree, preferably in an economic field, with initial experience in the construction sector or in B2B sales. You are flexible and open to occasionally working evenings and weekends. You have a strong affinity with the construction sector in the broadest sense. You are comfortable with new technologies and modern communication channels. You are fluent in both French and Dutch; knowledge of English is an asset.
