Retirement plan administrator with 3–5 years of A-Z retirement plan administration experience. Needs strong knowledge of ADP/ACP, 415, 410(b), Top Heavy and 401(a)(4) non-discrimination testing, plus MS Office; Relius ASP and ASPPA/NIPA credentials are preferred. Must be able to work remotely within the United States, with New Orleans hybrid candidates prioritized.

What you'll do

  • Independently handle A-Z administration for a caseload of 401k and cross-tested plans.
  • Perform plan ADP/ACP compliance testing accurately and timely.
  • Maintain industry knowledge and share information with team members.
  • Utilize Relius ASP systems and other technologies to maximize efficiencies.
  • Review and recommend plan design changes to clients.
  • Coordinate year-end valuation.
  • Read and interpret plan documents.
  • Import census and participant account data.
  • Perform asset reconciliation/trust accounting.
  • Perform year-end valuation.
  • Handle all preparation and filing for forms 5500, 8955, 5330.
  • Review applications for loan, hardship withdrawals, and account distributions.
  • Other duties as assigned.

What they require

  • 3-5 years of A-Z retirement plan administration experience.
  • Excellent knowledge of ADP/ACP, 415, 410(b), Top Heavy and 401(a)(4) non-discrimination testing.
  • Preferred: ASPPA and/or NIPA credentials preferred.
  • Preferred: Experience with Relius ASP software strongly preferred.
  • Excellent verbal, written, analytical, organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Strong math and/or accounting skills.
  • Strong initiative, integrity, self-motivation, and results orientation.
  • Ability to organize, set priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Strong MS Office experience, especially Excel and Word.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • A high level of comfort with technology.
  • Personality to thrive in an entrepreneurial environment by being adaptable, creative, proactive, and eager to grow in this position as it evolves with the growth of the company.
  • Some experience as an Administrator, but ready to take the next step of growth in their career.
  • Senior-level Administrator title will be considered for candidates who possess strong experience and credentials.
  • Ambitious and looking to grow into leadership in the future.
