What you'll do

  • Performing scheduled diabetic eye exams (retinal screenings) for members at provider practice using imaging equipment supplied and trained on by the company
  • Up to 100% paid field travel in the Philadelphia, PA area to provider practices and patient homes for scheduled eye exam appointments
  • Engaging virtually with team members, internal partners, customers, providers, payers, and care teams on non-appointment days
  • Supporting closure of eye exam and related quality gaps
  • Completing company-provided training on retinal imaging equipment and eye exam procedures before conducting exams independently
  • Managing a daily eye exam appointment schedule, confirming appointments with practices and patients in advance, and coordinating travel logistics
  • Building and maintaining strong working relationships with co-workers, customers, providers, payers, and care teams
  • Performing other duties as assigned to support quality improvement, reporting, patient outreach, and customer success
  • Providing results of the exam appointments — being 100% paid field travel in the Houston, TX area, traveling to provider practices and patient homes for scheduled eye exam appointments.
  • Travel to provider practices on a scheduled appointment basis to perform diabetic eye exams (retinal screenings) using company-provided imaging equipment and support the closure of eye exam and related quality gaps.
  • Complete company-provided training on retinal imaging equipment and eye exam procedures before conducting exams independently, and maintain competency through ongoing training.
  • Manage a daily eye exam appointment schedule, confirming appointments with practices and patients in advance, and coordinate travel logistics.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with co-workers, customers, providers, payers, and care teams.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support quality improvement, reporting, patient outreach, and customer success.
  • Responsible for following all Security policies and procedures to protect PHI and PII under Guidehealth's custodianship.

  • Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Associate degree or greater in a related field
  • Minimum of 1–3 years of experience in a healthcare setting
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, quality measures, medical billing, or coding
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Teams, and multiple healthcare-related systems or applications
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet hard deadlines
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with management, co-workers, customers, providers, payers, and care teams
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment
  • Must reside locally in the Philadelphia, PA area
