What you'll do

  • Manage and advance watershed-scale nature-based solution (NbS) projects that support TNC’s conservation strategy in Europe.
  • Coordinate TNC engagement across multiple projects and serve as a key point of contact with partners delivering projects on the ground.
  • Establish timelines, coordinate budgets, track project performance and ensure successful delivery of agreed activities against objectives and grant requirements.
  • Work within a matrix of European and global TNC teams and align TNC expertise, resources and networks with partner needs.
  • Contribute expertise to develop strategies, plans and products that engage donors, businesses and policymakers to grow the programme’s impact.

What they require

  • Bachelor’s degree and 3 years experience in natural resource management or similar field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Relationship-building experience working with a variety of partners (media, government officials, internal scientists).
  • Experience completing tasks independently concerning timeline(s).
  • Experience using common software applications such as Word, Excel, web browsers.
  • Must have valid driver's license.
  • Preferred: Multi-lingual skills, particularly French & Spanish.
  • Preferred: 3-5 years’ experience in practice or policy of water and land management or equivalent.
  • Preferred: Familiarity with principles of Nature based Solutions and knowledge of ecological watershed management principles.
  • Preferred: Knowledge of current trends and practices in conservation, water management and environmental economics.
