Part-time Research Technician for the College of Natural Resources; previous student research technician experience and a valid driver's license required. Must be eligible to work in the United States and pass a criminal background check. Role includes lab and field testing, equipment maintenance, data collection and summarizing results for reports and presentations.

What you'll do

  • Conducts research experiments with limited supervision and provides technical support for research projects and/or labs.
  • Performs lab and field tests on materials and samples according to established research requirements and specifications.
  • Inspects and maintains equipment, supplies, inventory, and facility spaces.
  • Collects and monitors data; reviews and summarizes results for presentations or reporting.
  • Assists with literature reviews and report writing.

What they require

  • Previous student research technician experience
  • Valid and current driver's license
  • Must ensure eligibility to work in the United States on or before the effective date of appointment
  • Employment will require a criminal background check
  • Supply a minimum of three (3) professional references (one being a current or former supervisor)
