What you'll do

  • Conduct legal research on statutes, regulations, and case law related to advertising and FDA/FTC regulatory compliance.
  • Support the Regulatory Attorney in reviewing marketing materials, advertisements, and promotional campaigns for legal compliance.
  • Assist in developing and implementing compliance policies, procedures, and training programs.
  • Stay informed about changes in laws, regulations, and industry trends affecting company operations and communicate relevant updates to stakeholders.
  • Draft legal memoranda, reports, and correspondence with insights and recommendations on compliance matters.
  • Assist in maintaining corporate records, entity databases, and governance documents.
  • Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and process improvement initiatives across regulatory and commercial workstreams.
  • Assist attorneys and staff with ad-hoc research and project-based work.
  • Help organize and maintain the department’s shared resources and document repositories.

  • Competent in interpreting statutes and regulations to assess applicability and impact on specific legal issues, particularly in advertising and health and wellness.
  • Basic understanding of contract structure, common legal terms, negotiation principles, and corporate governance concepts.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills, with the ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously.
  • Proficiency with technology tools for efficient document management and research.
  • Research and writing proficiency consistent with law school training.
  • Current law student; college degree required.
  • Preferred: Prior experience in a corporate or legal environment.
