What you'll do

  • Conduct field safety audits, inspections, and ride-alongs with Field Service Engineers across Europe.
  • Coach employees and field leaders on safe work practices, hazard recognition, Lockout/Tagout, machine safeguarding, ergonomics, and contractor safety.
  • Serve as the regional subject matter expert for customer health and safety requirements, ensuring compliance documentation is accurate and maintained.
  • Develop and standardize safety programs, SOPs, RAMS, JHAs, risk assessments, forms, and customer-required documentation.
  • Conduct compliance audits and identify opportunities to improve safety performance and standardization.
  • Lead or support incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
  • Manage regional safety data within VelocityEHS, including incidents, inspections, hazards, and corrective actions.
  • Partner with Works Councils, customers, regulators, and internal stakeholders to support regional compliance initiatives.
  • Monitor changes in European health and safety regulations and recommend improvements.
  • Travel throughout Europe (approximately 20%) to support field operations and customer sites.

What they require

  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Health & Safety, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 4 years of EHS experience supporting field service, manufacturing, industrial equipment, or multi-site operations.
  • Experience managing customer health and safety documentation, contractor safety, and regulatory compliance across Europe.
  • Strong knowledge of European health and safety regulations and country-specific compliance requirements.
  • Experience developing safety programs, SOPs, RAMS, JHAs, and risk assessments.
  • Experience conducting field audits, safety observations, ride-alongs, and compliance assessments.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to influence without direct authority.
  • Ability to work independently while managing priorities across multiple countries.
  • High ethical standards, integrity, and professionalism.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel throughout Europe.
