What you'll do

  • Own a client's presence on Reddit, running both their branded Reddit accounts and their subreddit.
  • Be the voice that represents the brand in communities that matter to them.
  • Use the platform to surface every conversation worth joining.
  • Bring the Reddit judgment for how to show up the right way once in a conversation.
  • Make the brand a welcome, trusted member of the communities it belongs in, and build genuine goodwill around it.
  • Participate in one to two hours of meetings a week with the Outpost team, engineers, and sometimes the client.
  • Work from a prioritized thread queue our platform ranks for you.
  • Comment, post and run the occasional AMA on the brand's behalf, including threads where the brand is being compared or talked about negatively.
  • Be in high-priority threads fast, ideally within the hour and at the latest within 24 hours.
  • Help build and run the client's own subreddit: turning the threads already ranking on Google into content that lives there, keeping it active and welcoming, and moderating it into a real home for their community.
  • Flag what buyers are really saying and what is worth acting on, which feeds the monthly intelligence delivered to the client.

What they require

  • Deep Reddit knowledge: know the culture cold: what earns traction and what gets removed.
  • A marketing background of some kind: content, social media, SEO or AEO/GEO.
  • Real enthusiasm for the brands you would represent.
  • You write like a person, not a marketer, and you are comfortable putting your name to a brand out in the open.
