Position Overview Unison Infrastructure is seeking a qualified Attorney (m/f/d) to support its European legal function, based in Frankfurt. This role works closely with the Regional General Counsel – Europe and plays a key role in managing real estate transactions, with a primary focus on Germany and additional involvement across European jurisdictions as part of ongoing expansion.

The ideal candidate has strong experience in real estate law, transaction management, and due diligence, and is comfortable handling multiple projects in a fast-paced, international environment.

Key Responsibilities

Legal & Transaction Management • Support the Regional General Counsel – Europe on legal and transaction matters • Manage the full transaction lifecycle from structuring to closing • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, term sheets, LOIs, and notarial deeds • Conduct legal and property due diligence (leases, title) • Prepare and review closing documentation, including closing statements and finance-related materials • Oversee the closing process to ensure accuracy, completeness, and timely execution

Coordination & Stakeholder Management • Liaise with brokers, site owners, and internal stakeholders • Coordinate with external advisors (attorneys, notaries, banks, fund managers) • Collaborate with Unison’s US Legal Department, including regular reporting and meetings

Operational Support • Manage and organize documentation in internal systems (e.g. SharePoint) • Track transactions using internal systems • Oversee payment processes at closing • Support reporting on due diligence and transaction status

Advisory & Cross-Functional Support • Provide guidance on property tax matters • Train the Origination team on real estate topics • Support legal work in other European jurisdictions as needed

Qualifications • Fully qualified lawyer in Germany or equivalent • Experience in real estate law and transactions • Strong knowledge of due diligence and closing processes • Experience working with notaries and external advisors • Excellent drafting and negotiation skills • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities • Fluent in German and English

Positionsbeschreibung Unison Infrastructure sucht eine_n qualifizierte_n Rechtsanwält*in (m/w/d) zur Unterstützung der europäischen Rechtsabteilung mit Sitz in Frankfurt. Die Position arbeitet eng mit dem/der Regional General Counsel – Europe zusammen und übernimmt eine zentrale Rolle bei der Betreuung von Immobilientransaktionen mit Schwerpunkt Deutschland sowie unterstützend in weiteren europäischen Jurisdiktionen im Rahmen der Expansion.

Die gesuchte Person verfügt über fundierte Erfahrung im Immobilienrecht, Transaktionsmanagement und in der Due Diligence und ist in der Lage, mehrere Projekte gleichzeitig in einem internationalen und dynamischen Umfeld zu betreuen.

Hauptaufgaben

Recht & Transaktionsmanagement • Unterstützung des/der Regional General Counsel – Europe in rechtlichen und transaktionsbezogenen Themen • Steuerung des gesamten Transaktionsprozesses von der Strukturierung bis zum Abschluss • Erstellung, Prüfung und Verhandlung von Verträgen, Term Sheets, LOIs und notariellen Urkunden • Durchführung rechtlicher und immobilienbezogener Due Diligence (Mietverträge, Eigentumsverhältnisse) • Erstellung und Prüfung von Abschlussdokumentationen (z. B. Closing Statements) • Überwachung des Closing-Prozesses hinsichtlich Genauigkeit und Fristen

Koordination & Stakeholder-Management • Kommunikation mit Makler_innen, Grundstückseigentümer_innen und internen Stakeholdern • Koordination externer Berater_innen (Rechtsanwält_innen, Notar_innen, Banken, Fondsmanager_innen) • Zusammenarbeit mit der US-Rechtsabteilung inklusive Reporting und regelmäßiger Abstimmungen

Operative Unterstützung • Verwaltung und Organisation von Dokumenten in internen Systemen (z. B. SharePoint) • Nachverfolgung von Transaktionen in internen Tools • Steuerung von Zahlungsprozessen im Rahmen von Closings • Unterstützung beim Reporting zu Due Diligence und Transaktionsstatus

Beratung & bereichsübergreifende Unterstützung • Beratung zu Grundsteuer-Themen • Schulung des Origination-Teams in immobilienrechtlichen Fragestellungen • Unterstützung bei rechtlichen Themen in weiteren europäischen Jurisdiktionen

Qualifikationen • Volljurist_in in Deutschland oder vergleichbare Qualifikation_ • Berufserfahrung im Immobilienrecht und Transaktionsgeschäft • Fundierte Kenntnisse in Due Diligence und Closing-Prozessen _• Erfahrung in der Zusammenarbeit mit Notar_innen und externen Berater*innen • Sehr gute Fähigkeiten in Vertragsgestaltung und Verhandlung • Ausgeprägte organisatorische Fähigkeiten und Multitasking-Kompetenz • Verhandlungssichere Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse
