What you'll do

  • Overseeing purchasing and inventory control of the warehouse.
  • Negotiates and secures pricing.
  • Receives incoming shipments of merchandise or other materials.
  • Verify correctness of shipments against bills of lading, invoices, etc.
  • Keep records of goods received.
  • Report damaged goods and shortages.
  • Keep stock in orderly arrangement.
  • Utilize Yardi software to track and maintain inventory of materials.
  • Purchase orders processing and audit of all items received.
  • Work closely with the accounts payable coordinator in processing paperwork in a timely manner.
  • Communicating any problems that result in credits needing to be obtained by the vendors.
  • Responsible for the setup of new inventory items in the inventory system.
  • Updating the information in the costs of each item.
  • Distributing parts and maintaining building and unit keys to vendors and the maintenance team.
  • Order and receive parts and goods into inventory.
  • Negotiate and secure pricing for materials.
  • Maintain warehouse in an orderly arrangement.
  • Review and process purchase orders, bills of lading and invoices.
  • Set up shipments with ground carriers.
  • Key distribution.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
