What you'll do
- Overseeing purchasing and inventory control of the warehouse.
- Negotiates and secures pricing.
- Receives incoming shipments of merchandise or other materials.
- Verify correctness of shipments against bills of lading, invoices, etc.
- Keep records of goods received.
- Report damaged goods and shortages.
- Keep stock in orderly arrangement.
- Utilize Yardi software to track and maintain inventory of materials.
- Purchase orders processing and audit of all items received.
- Work closely with the accounts payable coordinator in processing paperwork in a timely manner.
- Communicating any problems that result in credits needing to be obtained by the vendors.
- Responsible for the setup of new inventory items in the inventory system.
- Updating the information in the costs of each item.
- Distributing parts and maintaining building and unit keys to vendors and the maintenance team.
- Order and receive parts and goods into inventory.
- Negotiate and secure pricing for materials.
- Maintain warehouse in an orderly arrangement.
- Review and process purchase orders, bills of lading and invoices.
- Set up shipments with ground carriers.
- Key distribution.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
