Sutherland is seeking an attentive and goal-oriented person to join us as a NICE Proposal Engineer. This is a role for a talented professional that is responsible for reviewing, assessing and delivering professional services proposals (Quotes, Design reviews, services-related RFP responses, SOW reviews, etc.) alongside the NICE sales organization, including Account Executives, Presales engineers, and sales overlay team. The Services Solutions Specialist engages at early deal stages and promotes NICE’s Professional Services offerings, including and especially the Value Realization Services (VRS) portfolio for existing and new customers across the Americas region and, occasionally, other global regions. The Specialist will be part of a regional Services Solutions Team (SST), reporting remotely to the Director of Services Solutions, and is expected to be self-sufficient and independent, collaborating closely with other SST colleagues as well as partners in the Professional Services, Sales, Finance, Legal, and Operations to assist in efficiently closing deals for NICE, driving top-line professional services bookings, and continually improving organizational process toward these ends.
Creates new and modifies existing Services pricing quotes based on solution design, RFPs, scope documents or other similar sources using the Enterprise Pricelist and NICE CPQ systems Acts as a services pricing gatekeeper – reviewing and optimizing predefined prices, analyzing gross margin and providing discount guidance for individual deals, and ensuring required pro services items are quoted correctly Responds to requests from and proactively engages regional sales, solution engineering, sales overlay, and services and sales leaders to ensure a collaborative and accurate approach to pricing and deal structure for the professional services offerings for all relevant deals Proactively reviews pipeline reports and ensures appropriate pricing early in the sales cycle by collaborating with the key stakeholders listed above Monitors and manages NICE professional services renewals status, and coordinates efforts accordingly to ensure the maximum renewal revenues possible Serves as proposal lead for professional services throughout the lifecycle of the proposal, maintaining accurate pricing and assumptions throughout the evolution of each deal Coordinates submission of the proposal on the NICE electronic platform and ensures distribution of soft copies of quotes, Order Administration Output files, and other documents to relevant stakeholders as required With other SST colleagues, maintains a cloud-based repository of quotes, SOWs, design documents, relevant email correspondence, and other collateral for each deal that remains accessible to a wider audience Recommends new pricing, sales engagement methodology and CPQ tool user interface improvements Identifies opportunities for and executes improved pricing submission efficiency, by helping to develop pricing templates, estimator tools, pricing library repository, language for justifying pro services level of effort, and other improvements to the proposal response process SLAs Assists with other pricing related projects, as requested and assigned

What you'll do
