What you'll do

  • Represent ZEISS as onsite lead during installation of all Project related content
  • Install, troubleshoot, and run off ZEISS CMM automated loading systems
  • Direct and support end user skilled trades teams during the installation of ZEISS CMM enclosure and automated measurement systems
  • Oversee ZEISS equipment as it moves through the PRO TAG process
  • Program and trouble shoot safety systems and electrical systems
  • Program and trouble shoot Watlow HVAC controller
  • Communicate on site installation status to project manager
  • Work with and validate deliverables of ZEISS contractors & vendors
  • Document system acceptance and provide installation report to project manager
  • Prepare custom documentation for the operation of each unique system
  • Identify and report necessary Engineering Changes
  • Support Engineering team in the development and validation of engineering changes
  • Train customer on system use

What they require

  • Mechanical inclinations and skills preferred
  • Verbal and written communication skills with an ability to create concise technical reports
  • Mechanical detailing - reading blueprints, CAD Drawings, etc.
  • Excellent computer skill, including proficiency in MS Office
  • Electrical systems troubleshooting experience desired
  • Must be a team player across the organization
  • Must have valid US driver license
  • Willingness to travel to customer sites 50%-70% and work off schedule hours for up to 3 weeks at a time
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on an infrequent basis
