As a Part-Time Project Associate , you will support the Delivery Team at Chemin! You will report to the Head of Delivery and work alongside our Project Delivery Executives to ensure our community of Data Annotators delivers the highest-quality work to our clients, fueling AI advancements across various industries. You will assist in the operational management of client projects, and to do this, you will need to develop an understanding of data labeling execution. The role will demand a high work ethic as well as project and people management skills. Work Arrangements This position can be either fully remote or hybrid, with the option to work from our office in Plaza Sentral on our 2 weekly office days, Mondays and Fridays. Project Associates are expected to follow the Malaysian timezone (9:00 am–6:00 pm, Monday–Friday), subject to timezone differences of no more than 4 hours. The minimum contract period is three months, renewable upon satisfactory performance. We are seeking candidates who can start working with us immediately in July 2026 onwards. Responsibilities Your primary focus revolves around operations in the Project Delivery function, including: Providing operational support to the Project Delivery Executives to ensure projects are completed on time and to a high standard. Assisting with operational tasks for setting up projects. Developing project guidelines and project planning. Completing project administrative tasks in line with client and internal standards. Guiding our remote annotators with their challenges and/or questions via our internal communication platforms, including resolving project-specific queries. Performing thorough quality checks for optimal accuracy. Provide daily progress updates to the Project Delivery Lead, proactively flagging risks, blockers, or delays. Continuously identify opportunities to improve existing workflows and operational processes, and propose actionable solutions. Requirements Entry-level, 0-2 years of experience in project management in any capacity. Possess or working towards a relevant degree such as Business Studies, Engineering, BA, or other professional degree. Candidates of all educational backgrounds are welcome to apply, including students and fresh graduates! Technically competent in Google Suites, including being highly proficient with spreadsheets Strong organizational and planning abilities. Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy and reliability. Fast learner, self-driven, and results-oriented. High level of commitment, integrity, and an excellent "can-do" working attitude. Efficient time management skills, able to multitask, and manage one's own time. Resourcefulness in problem-solving, especially in tackling new challenges. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with proficiency in spoken and written English. Bonus if you have: Project management experience in any capacity (work experience, extracurricular involvement, etc.) Proficiency in other languages is an advantage.
